She assumed it would take a month.
Susanna Lönnrot is one of the founders of Creator Akatemia, a coaching company in Finland. Every month they run a three-day live event, and in her words their revenue basically kind of depends on it. Getting each month's event ready was a pile of small jobs, done by hand, by the founders themselves. This page is what that job was, what I built, and what she said about it afterwards, on video.
The job was lots of little steps. New dates in the welcome emails, new dates on the event pages, a fresh tag for the month in the email platform, then test the lot. There was nobody on the team to hand it to, so the founders did it. It came to hours spread over at least a week, every month.
It was kind of really bad use of our time which is super valuable.Susanna Lönnrot, founder, Creator Akatemia, on video, September 2026
The monthly setup, in one run
From the first commit to September being set
That's the time from the first line of the build to the September event's pages, tag and welcome email being changed. She'd suggested leaving it for the following month's event, since this month's felt too close. It went into September's.
The dates, everywhere they live
Each month's dates had to change in the welcome email, on the registration page and on the recording page, with the booking deadline and the group buttons alongside them. The month also needed its own tag in the email platform. I built it so all of that comes from one set of dates and gets written in one go, where before it was a checklist someone worked through by hand.
The Facebook covers, months ahead
Each month's event also gets its own cover image in the Facebook group. Those are made from the same dates, so the covers for the rest of the year were done in the same sitting.
Her September event runs on 22 to 24 September, after this page was written. The real test is whether October's event sets up from the calendar with nobody touching it. I'll add that here once it's happened, and I'll say so plainly if it didn't.
Watch her say it
So in like a day or something, we had already done most of the work. And first I was assuming that this would take like a month or something.Susanna Lönnrot, on how long it took

It was also an energy drain so not only a time drain but also an energy drain… we thought we would have to hire an assistant to do it but turns out AI can do it for usSusanna Lönnrot, on what it cost them before
He might even save you a hire. Maybe you don't have to hire a person to do something that you thought you would have to do.Susanna Lönnrot, on who should hire me
In her telling it took about a day, where she'd assumed about a month self-reported. I didn't time her side of it. She said it on the record, and it's the first clip above.
The pilot was free, in exchange for this testimonial. What she said in it was up to her, and the quotes here are hers, word for word.
